Corporate Dividend Exclusion

Trading Term

The tax treatment of corporations that receive dividends from other corporations. If a corporation owns less than 20% of the distributing corporation, 70% of the dividend income will be excluded. If the corporation owns more than 20%, the tax exclusion will be 80%.
