On April 10th, 2022, French voters return to the polls for the first round of this year’s presidential election, where incumbent Emmanuel Macron is running for a second term to lead Europe’s second largest economy. While France’s unemployment rate is again approaching its pre-COVID and pre-GFC lows of around 7%, French GDP in dollar terms remains below 2007 levels, and policies enacted as a result of this year’s elections will likely impact the greater European economy and investors in it for many years to come.

In this informative webinar, independent wealth manager Tariq Dennison provides an overview of France’s economic situation, how this year’s election may impact it, along with actionable trading strategies around it using CAC, EURO STOXX 50, VSTOXX, and OAT futures and ETFs.
