Image Good Morning Vietnam! Asia’s Rising Frontier Market For Investors Watch on GoTo Webinar

The April 2021 IMF World Economic Outlook forecasts Vietnam to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world from 2021 to 2026, yet many global investors have little or no allocation to this high-growth Southeast Asian market. Vietnam is not yet classified as an “Emerging Market” but as a “Frontier Market” by FTSE and MSCI, who now have Vietnam as the single largest weight in their respective Frontier Market index benchmarks at over 30% each. Outside of a few small frontier market focused funds, the Vietnamese market is still relatively difficult for foreign investors to access, which often means opportunities in choosing the right access channel as this market continues to develop and open up. In this webinar, seasoned emerging and frontier market veteran Tariq Dennison of GFM Asset Management presents a background on Vietnam’s economy and equity market, and explains different ways investors can access Vietnam’s investment opportunities from the Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation.
