Next to energy prices, food prices have been the second biggest contributor to inflation so far in 2022, as many consumers have been noticing every time they shop for groceries. In total, agricultural commodities make up about 35 percent of the Bloomberg Commodity Index, slightly more than the 30 percent weight of energy, yet many investors still find futures markets for these commodities to be more obscure than oil, gas, or even some cryptocurrencies.

In this informative webinar, experienced investor and futures trader Tariq Dennison breaks down the Bloomberg Commodities index and two main categories of agricultural commodities in the index: grains (corn, wheat, and soybeans) and livestock (cattle and hogs). Tariq then shows hands-on examples of futures and option trades you could make in your Interactive Brokers account to manage your exposure to these commodities prices and potentially benefit from changes in inflation expectations.
