IBKR Python API Course for Students

We invite all university and high school students interested in algo trading or data science to take our free Traders’ Academy Python TWS API course. This interactive online class focuses on programming with the Trader Workstation Application Programming Interface (TWS API) for Python developers.

The TWS API is an open source interface to IBKR’s flagship desktop trading application, TWS, which allows for automation of many aspects of TWS functionality.

The course curriculum has been designed by a member of the IBKR API team who has been contributing to the API educational resources, reference guides and webinars for years.

Moreover, join the instructor in this interactive tour using Python* and learn how to get the syntax resources and the sample Testbed project.

In addition, code along with the presenter and boost your Python experience with specific financial applications. The class offers unique opportunities to enhance your algo trading skills and thus could help you in your future career.

Visit the Traders’ Academy to get started in developing Python applications that use the API.

*API requires Python version 3.3
