This morning 4,000 Amicus Therapeutics, Inc. (Symbol: FOLD) April 19 ’24 12/13 call spreads traded for $0.36. The spread has a delta of 26, so the trade is the equivalent of 104,000 shares of stock. At the time of the trade FOLD was trading at $11.69. The buyer of the spread will benefit if FOLD’s stock price rises above $12.36 and can make a maximum of $0.64 profit on the trade excluding commissions and exchange fees.

FOLD is expected to release earnings after the spread expires so the buyer may expect a slight movement to the upside over the next 30 days.

FOLD is currently trading at $11.87. FOLD has a 52-week high of $14.57 and a 52-week low of $9.70.

  • Since the OI of the 13s was greater than 4000 contracts but only 200 for the 12s it seems to me that the trade might have been a roll down from the 13’s to the 12’s. We’ll see tomorrow, if the OI of the 13s shrinks by 4000 and the 12s increases by 4000 then that’s probably what it was. Thanks as always for posting these!
