How has your portfolio performed during the first half of 2022? The past few months have saw some of the sharpest market swings since the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020, marked by regular moves of 2-3% for equity indexes. Some investors with tech-focused equity portfolios have been particularly exposed to the risk-off mood, in the backdrop of a Fed tightening cycle not seen in 20 years. Investors can mitigate the broad impact to their portfolio through several option strategies, by seeking to repair stock losses through option writing on single names.

Join Gareth Ryan, Founder & Managing Director at IUR Capital, as he looks at how option strategies can be used to repair unrealized losses on long stock positions in a portfolio through option writing. Gareth will look at the collar strategy, buy-write, and protective equity. A Q&A will follow at the end.
