Trading Term

As defined in Rule 501 Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, an investor who is financially sophisticated and has a reduced need for the protection provided by certain government filings. Accredited investors can be individuals, banks, insurance companies, employee benefit plans, and trusts.
