PortfolioAnalyst

Participants in the IBKR Student Trading Lab can analyze portfolio performance, concentration, and risk measures with Interactive Brokers’ PortfolioAnalyst – a real-time reporting tool, available through our web-based, Client Portal platform.

PortfolioAnalyst consolidates, tracks, and analyzes the entire picture of your financial performance – including advanced reporting, global support, benchmarks, risk metrics, and powerful, on-the-go analytics.

Among its many features, PortfolioAnalyst offers key statistics, portfolio movers, allocation, risk measures, including Max Drawdown, Sortino Ratio, Sharpe Ratio, Calmar Ratio, Alpha, Beta, Positive Periods, Negative Periods, along with several others. You can also see projected income, where you can see the estimated income for the year ahead from dividends and interest, as well as concentration, ESG ratings, and much more!

In PortfolioAnalyst, you can also create reports that evaluate portfolio performance, compare to selected industry benchmarks, as well as select from a wide range of reporting capabilities.

Flex Queries

Meanwhile, participants using our Client Portal platform can also take advantage of the statements and customized reporting, or flex queries, available to them. With flex queries, participants can generate highly customized report templates for activity statements and trade confirmations.

Specialized Reports

Moreover, participants can get a host of reports, including margin requirements, the ability to perform stress tests, get VaR (Value-at-Risk) estimates, as well as receive transaction cost analyses – giving you a dynamic and interactive analysis of trades, marked to various benchmarks, grouped in different categories, or on a per-order basis.

Participants also have access to other, more specific, equity and fixed-income-related tools.

IBKR GlobalAnalyst

For example, if you’re looking to scan the globe for undervalued stocks, then look no further. IBKR GlobalAnalyst is our free, online tool that lets you compare the relative valuation of stocks all over the world. Find out, for example, how Norwegian stock prices compare to the rest of Europe or which country stock indexes are undervalued.

By comparing the prices and financial metrics of global stocks in the same currency, IBKR GlobalAnalyst helps you identify new investment opportunities. Search for stocks by region, country, industry, market cap, and currency. The results show the current market price and various financial metrics, including the price-to-earnings-to growth ratio.

Bond Marketplace

For participants focused on the fixed-income markets, IBKR also offers the Bond Marketplace – with a vast universe of over one million bonds, globally, including U.S. government securities, corporate, municipal, and sovereign bonds, CDs, fixed-income futures, options, and more!

Use our Bond Search tool to compare available yields against those of other brokers.

Investors’ Marketplace
